Dr. Thomas Pane Earn’s RealSelf Top 500 Award

Atlantic Coast Aesthetics is proud to announce that our founder and Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Thomas A. Pane, has been named one of only 500 board-certified physicians in the world to earn the prestigious RealSelf 500 award for 2018, which carries with it the distinction of being named a RealSelf Top Doctor.

The award, given to physicians based on interaction and patient reviews on the cosmetic treatment website RealSelf.com, recognizes outstanding physicians based on criteria including community engagement, quality of information and patient education, and evidence-based demonstrations of knowledge and practical application such as pre- and post-treatment photographs.

Dr. Pane began his medical career by earning a Bachelor of Science degree in biotechnology from Worcester Polytechnic Institute. After he graduated he went to the University of Connecticut Health Center for medical school. He served his residency in emergency medicine at Baystate Medical Center under the auspices of Tufts University in Springfield, Massachusetts and his cosmetic surgery residency at Detroit Medical Center under the auspices of Wayne State University in Michigan. He carries double board certification in both general surgery and cosmetic surgical medicine and has been in active practice for over fourteen years. His popular Ask Dr. Pane video series, where he tackles questions about cosmetic surgery from patients who follow us on social media, has only underscored his ongoing commitment to expanding patient education, knowledge and safety in all facets of cosmetic surgery.
